As I prepared to teach my virtual HIIT class this morning, I took this picture. I can see how much different I look from just last week. I’ve gained almost nine pounds in eight days as a result of changes in hormones due to menopause, especially regarding sleep. I almost didn’t post the picture. 💯 Then I remembered that this is part of the journey — my journey. It isn’t just about me. God is showing me how to navigate it, just like with “Phase 1,” which started almost seven years ago. He is helping me, so that I may help others for His glory. That being said, “Let’s go, ‘Phase 2!’”

Got in some body weight exercises this evening: • Modified push-ups • Lateral leg raises • Tricep extensions • Bicep curls • Dead lifts • Lunges • V-sit I am choosing not to let menopause get the better of me. It is a current phase in my life, but it is only temporary. I’m making the choice to open my mind to additional adjustments that may need to be made. I’ll be the stronger for it — in body, soul, & spirit. Let’s go!
