After working for many years in the corporate arena, Bridget feels blessed to have been able to stay at home with her children, whom she loves dearly. She is thankful for the support of her best friend and husband for the opportunity to do so.
Regarding parenting, she takes her role very seriously. She believes that teaching the next generation is important. That encompasses not just making sure her children do well in school, but also in life. She does her best to make sure that her children are equipped with basic, practical life skills, including how to sew a button onto a garment, as well as food preparation and cooking.
Children often tend to follow their parents' examples. That makes Bridget all the more grateful that she began to take her health seriously after a scare in 2012. Through her personal journey, she developed a passion for helping others to make small, practical changes in order to improve their quality of life by learning to live a healthier lifestyle.
In March 2018, she released her first book, H.E.A.L.T.H.: It's Not Rocket Science (My Journey to a Healthier Me), in which she shares the joys, the struggles, and the lessons learned on her journey. Through her book, she hopes to encourage and motivate others to start taking better care of themselves physically. As a wife and mother, she feels strongly that positive changes in one's health will impact future generations. She is already seeing it in her own children.
On her journey, Bridget has obtained certifications in group fitness instruction, Zumba, and personal training. She is blessed to have regular opportunities to assist others in their efforts to see a positive turnaround in their health.
She also enjoys singing and learning the Spanish language. She hopes to use both, in addition to fitness, to be able to help others accomplish their God-given passions.
